Where we started
HexTel started as a one-crew, owner-operator company building telecom networks across Texas, led by tower foremen. That origin still defines how we run: crews mobilize with safety controls in place, quality checkpoints stay consistent, and closeout is captured as the build happens.
Our track record includes 1,000+ sites built and deployed, most of them wireless, on T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Dish programs, executed with one operating model from mobilization through acceptance.

Five divisions today
The same crews, safety program and closeout discipline now run five in-house divisions:
- Wireless. Macro towers, small cell and DAS, and site integration through sweep, PIM and carrier acceptance, including crane and helicopter hard-access sites.
- Fiber & OSP. Aerial and underground construction, directional boring, fusion splicing and OTDR testing, closed out by the same crews.
- Data Centers. Structured cabling in Cat6A/7/8 and OS2/OM4/OM5 to BICSI, MMR-to-hall fiber backbone, rack and stack, and L1-L2 commissioning support.
- Public Safety. ERRCS and BDA systems on UL 2524 equipment, IFC 510 grid testing, fire-alarm integration and annual recertification.
- EV & Power. EV fast charging, solar PV, battery storage and 200A+ electrical service, delivered as a Tesla Energy certified partner.
